We admit it: we’ve been buying some convenience food here and there to keep on hand when we’re not up to cooking (and that came in handy when we had la grippe last week). Pot pies and tourtières are a staple here in Québec, so we thought we’d try this vegetarian “chicken” pie.
But.

St. Hubert is comparable to Marie Callender’s–they have a chain of restaurants and a branded product line in grocery stores, canned soups and frozen pies and the like. There’s a St. Hubert resto down the street with an outdoor bar that we thought looked promising, but now we’ll probably steer clear. Last thing we need is a flat and underfilled cocktail of lies.

Come see me and my new band, Cocktail of Lies, play at the Whisky a St Hubert just down the street. Peas had to drop out and she was the one who kept us in tune, so we apologize in advance if we’re a little flat.
She was a little flaky anyway
Very clever!
Oof!
Yeah, there was no there there
