Parlez-la!

Manon has written here before about the -Phone Wars and Bill 96. It’s a complicated subject with a lot of historical, cultural, and emotional baggage. As an outsider, I mostly witness the controversy via stories I hear from other students in my Francisation class, and in discussions on the online Montréal Reddit groups.

One could write a great deal on the subject, but I will spare you my ill-formed and not-fully-coherent thoughts on the matter. Instead, I will present some linguaganda that I saw posted on the métro this morning, designed to encourage the use of French at work:
