Why Did The Chicken Car Cross The Road?

To get to the parking spot on the other side!

This is a delivery vehicle for St. Hubert, a massive restaurant chain and frozen/ready-to-eat food enterprise here in Québec (not unlike Marie Callender’s in the States, with less emphasis on dessert pies). If you want salty, greasy, white-floury but quick-to-prepare foodstuffs, St. Hubert is clearly the patron saint of convenient and completely unhealthy comfort food.

As you can see, St. Hubert is famed/notorious for chicken dinners. We tried one of their refrigerator-aisle vegetarian chicken pot pies a couple years ago, and it was beyond disappointing. We’ve never felt the need to eat their food again.

But: chicken car. Of all the things happening below our balcony this week (public urination, assault with a wooden board, non-visible aurora borealis) this was the least objectionable.
